House of One – Partner in the one „World House“ - Part IV: Boston
Pastor Gregor Hohberg was visiting different interfaith initiatives and organizations throughout the US, to create and renew these important connections - even over this great distance - and to make the idea of the implementation of a "world house", the "House of One" more publicized.
This time he was visiting Boston and had a meeting with Maxine Lyon.
Boston, Newton, 17 August 93 ° F, meeting with Maxine Lyon. She is very involved in numerous interreligious initiatives and one of the founders of the Daughters of Abraham, Cambridge. A group of women who after 9/11 have met for the first time to read together and discuss - and to set an example (as much of the initiatives that we have met). In addition, she serves on the board of the CMM (Cooperative Metropolitan Ministries), has over their synagogue contact with the Interfaith Circle Program, a joint study program of directly neighboring universities: Hebrew College and Andover Newton Theological Seminary and she is initiating regular large (inter-religious) dialogue dinner. She describes herself as JewBu, a group of Jews who also use Buddhist meditation practices.
