The House of One commemorates the victims of the so-called “Factory Action” of February 1943 with a silent act of remembrance. During this operation, Jewish forced laborers in Berlin were arrested and deported.
Against Forgetting
The commemoration begins at the memorial site at Große Hamburger Straße 26 in Berlin-Mitte. From there, participants will take a silent walk to Rosenstraße 2, a key site of civilian resistance against the National Socialist persecution of Jewish people.
This will be followed by a commemorative ceremony offering space for remembrance, shared reflection, and interreligious solidarity. Contributions will be made by Cantor Esther Hirsch, Pastor Marion Gardei, and theologian Kübra Dalkilic.
