Interreligious lecture: Protecting Life

Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all share the commandment not to commit murder. This means much more than simply avoiding lethal violence.

How can I personally contribute to protecting life? This is the topic of this Bookmark evening, to which we cordially invite you to participate and discuss.

LESEZEICHEN (Bookmark) is our monthly interfaith reading series. Rabbi Andreas Nachama, Pastor Marion Gardei, and Imam Kadir Sanci quote passages from the Torah, the Bible, and the Koran and open them up for discussion. They exchange views on a different central theme of the three Abrahamic religions each time.

The evenings open up perspectives on one's own understanding of faith as well as on the traditions of other religions. They invite us to come together, reflect, and share ideas.
