Our reading series "Lesezeichen" in December: Against the Darkness

What do the Torah, the Bible, and the Qur’an say about life, time, prayer, light, or rest? At LESEZEICHEN – our monthly interreligious reading series – Rabbi Andreas Nachama, Pastor Marion Gardei, and Imam Kadir Sanci read together from the Holy Scriptures and engage in dialogue on central themes of the three Abrahamic religions.

These evenings offer new perspectives on one's own faith and invite participants to explore the traditions of others. They are a space for encounter, reflection, and meaningful conversation.

The next LESEZEICHEN is dedicated to the following theme:

Against the Darkness: Light and Illumination
As the days grow shorter, the light grows brighter.
The symbolism of light and darkness plays a significant role in all three Abrahamic religions – as do the festivals that celebrate light.
Different, yet related – and full of hope.
