Documentary Recommendation: "Was glaubst Du?" (German TV-Film)

In a time full of uncertainty, many people are searching for stability, meaning, and belonging – and often find it through their faith. The documentary What Do You Believe? explores the role religion plays in the lives of young people in Berlin and Brandenburg. The film follows five impressive young believers who open their doors, share their rituals, and speak openly about their spiritual journeys.

One of the protagonists is Islamic theologian Kübra Dalkilic, who discusses this very topic together with Rebecca Rogowski and Maike Schöfer on the House of One podcast "331 - 3 Frauen, 3 Religionen, 1 Thema." (331 – 3 Women, 3 Religions, 1 Topic) The film beautifully illustrates the depth of the podcast and how important it is to engage in conversations about faith in everyday life.

The documentary Was glaubst Du? is now available in the ARD Mediathek and is absolutely worth watching: we were deeply moved by the inspiring, diverse, and authentic stories of young believers in our society – and of course, especially impressed by Kübra’s warm and engaging presence.
