We are looking for 8 young people between the ages of 18 and 24 who want to share the idea of peaceful coexistence of the religions of the House of One and take part in a youth exchange in Tbilisi / Georgia. The study trip will take place from 19 to 27 March 2018.
The idea of the House of One, the peaceful dialogue of religions in togetherness, has been practiced for twenty years in Georgia and the Caucasus by Bishop Malkhaz Songulashvili, International Project Ambassador of the House of One. In 2015, Bishop Malkhaz was awarded the "Shabaz Bhatti Peace Prize" for his diverse work on mutual respect between different religions.
Bishop Ilia Osepashvili leads the Peace Academy with others. This regularly organizes youth camps between Muslim and Christian children and young people in Georgia. They learn and live together to avoid prejudice, building relationships and friendships that did not exist before and beyond the boundaries of religions. In the spring of 2018 we would like to visit, experience and help shape this project with young people from Germany.
