With the beginning of Ramadan, staff members of House of One will be invited to numerous locations in the coming weeks to provide professional support for Iftar evenings or to actively help shape them. Their expertise in religious and interreligious matters is explicitly sought after – whether in lectures, panel discussions, or personal exchanges.
Their involvement ranges from educational and dialogue formats to events organized by civil society initiatives, as well as invitations from political and diplomatic circles. The thematic focus includes fasting in Islam, its spiritual significance, and interreligious dialogue.
The fact that representatives of the House of One are invited to so many Iftars demonstrates that interreligious competence is in demand – especially at a time when social cohesion cannot be taken for granted. The House of One understands these invitations as a sign of trust and as a mandate to actively help shape dialogue between religions beyond the walls of its own building.
