Gregor Hohberg visited Rabbi Rosenbaum in Long Island, NY

July 21st, 2015. Rabbi Jay Rosenbaum has invited us in his temple on Long Island. It is the 100 year old Central Synagogue, in a district dominated by Jews. Apart from the synagogue shown above there exist almost 30 other synagogues. Emilia, my 13 year old daughter, who is taking the House of One - America Tour with me, is impressed by the naturalness of jewish life. Rabbi Jay Rosenbaum has for many years good contacts to the school "Zum Grauen Kloster" in Berlin. Through this partnership, he has also met our Rabbi Andreas Nachama. Jay Rosenbaum is president of Nabor (North American Board of Rabbis) and as such sought-after and very well-connected speaker of numerous interreligious debates and conferences in the US and worldwide. He is enthusiastic about the House of One idea and would like to be our House of One ambassador to the US. He also examined the possibility of establishing an House of One Initiative in New York. In October 2015 he would like to visit our project in Berlin.
