Religions continue to play a formative role in our society, in families, schools and businesses - no longer just one or two religions, as has been customary for centuries, but in a greater diversity. The resulting diversity of attitudes and lifestyles is part of everyday life in our globalised world. The focus of our interreligious education team is the appreciative exchange with and about people of different traditions. The key to a respectful encounter is to perceive unknown points of view not mistrustfully and rejectingly, but openly and questioningly.
Schulwettbewerb zur Grundsteinlegung
In Berlin entsteht etwas weltweit Einmaliges: Juden, Christen und Muslime bauen gemeinsam ein Haus, unter dessen Dach sich eine Synagoge, eine Kirche und eine Moschee befinden. In der Mitte wird es einen großen Zentralraum geben zur Begegnung von Menschen aller Religionen und Weltanschauung sowie von Menschen, die Religionen fern stehen.
